You will help support hardware, software and systems across production, warehouse and office environments, while assisting senior colleagues with AI trials, simple automation and user guidance. Training will be provided, with more complex issues escalated to senior IT staff. You do not need to be an AI specialist or have experience building AI models.

  • Carry out routine system checks and report potential issues to senior IT staff.
  • Assist with software deployments, updates and patch management under supervision.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset records, support tickets and straightforward user guides, including guidance on approved AI tools.
  • Follow cyber security, data protection and responsible AI procedures; keep confidential information out of unapproved tools and check AI-generated outputs before use.
  • Support IT projects, system upgrades and infrastructure improvements, and help senior colleagues trial simple AI-assisted workflows and automation, recording results and feedback.
  • Assist with support for manufacturing and operational technology systems where required, following site procedures and senior colleagues’ direction.

  • A logical approach to solving problems and a willingness to learn troubleshooting skills.
  • Clear communication skills and a helpful, patient approach to supporting colleagues.
  • The ability to organise tasks, follow instructions and ask for help when priorities are unclear.
  • Good attention to detail, including checking information and keeping accurate records.
  • A collaborative approach, with confidence to complete agreed tasks and escalate issues beyond your experience.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and use AI responsibly. Previous AI experience or coding knowledge is not essential; training will be provided.
