What You Will Do

• Chair statutory reviews for children in care, ensuring meetings are child-centred and inclusive.

• Promote meaningful participation, ensuring that children’s voices, wishes, and feelings are central to all planning.

• Monitor the progress of care plans, identifying and addressing any drift or delay.

• Provide professional challenge and escalate concerns through formal dispute resolution processes when required.

• Ensure safeguarding practices are upheld and risks are effectively identified and managed.

• Build strong multi-agency relationships to support high-quality decision-making and service delivery.

• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely review records, documenting decisions, recommendations, and next steps.
