We are on the hunt for a dynamic HR Business Partner to join our Corporate Services team, nestled in the beautiful coastal town of Torquay, UK. We currently have two exciting opportunities: a full-time position on a 12-month fixed-term contract, and a part-time role at 22.2 hours per week on a permanent contract. What You Will Do:

  • Act as the first point of contact for professional HR advice for both internal and external customers, ensuring the highest levels of service and expertise.
  • Support managers and customers in resolving complex HR issues by applying up-to-date knowledge of employment law, legislation, and best practices.
  • Conduct detailed investigations, research, and analysis, presenting accurate, well-evidenced recommendations to influence business decisions.
  • Lead HR projects, ensuring consultation, decision-making, and implementation processes are effectively followed.
  • Enhance people management performance by equipping managers with the skills to independently manage their staff through coaching and training delivery.
  • Engage in consultative arrangements with Trade Unions and manage TUPE transfers to fulfil employer obligations seamlessly.
  • Deliver bespoke training and professional coaching assignments to meet varying business needs.
  • Develop, update, and review HR policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act and Information Governance Policies.
  • Champion initiatives to improve staff well-being, engagement, and organisational development.
