Based near to Hornchurch, Essex | £36,223.20 – £38,620 per annum + Overtime + Benefits

About the Role:

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will deliver and collect powered access equipment and plant machinery from customer sites across Essex and East London.

Working Monday to Friday, you will be based near Hornchurch and return home every evening.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering and collecting powered access equipment safely and efficiently.

• Loading and unloading machinery at customer sites.

• Completing vehicle and load safety checks.

• Providing excellent customer service when dealing with customers.

• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed on time.

• Representing the business professionally at all times.

About You:

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will ideally have previous experience within powered access, plant hire or equipment rental.

You will also need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence.

• Previous multi-drop delivery and collection experience.

• A friendly, professional and customer-focused approach.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Reliable timekeeping and the ability to use your initiative.

A CSCS card would be advantageous but is not essential. Experience loading and unloading plant machinery would also be beneficial.
