• About the Role – Key Responsibilities

As a Handyman, you will maintain, repair and prepare welfare accommodation units for hire, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out general maintenance and repairs to welfare accommodation units.
• Completing practical tasks, including plumbing repairs and heater replacements.
• Preparing units for hire and ensuring they are clean, safe and ready for customers.
• Working alongside an experienced supervisor and wider maintenance team.
• Carrying out occasional site-based maintenance tasks when required.
• Following company procedures and maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

About You – Skills & Experience

To succeed as a Handyman, you will have:

• Practical maintenance, repair or DIY experience.
• Confidence using tools and completing general maintenance tasks.
• Experience with plumbing, heaters or portable accommodation would be advantageous.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and completing work to a high standard.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a commitment to safe working practices.
