What you will do:

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Provide support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care.
• Undertake routine health checks and maintain accurate patient records to assist in monitoring patient progress.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Respond to patient and family concerns with empathy, offering reassurance and guidance as required.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
• Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a hospital or care home setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of care practices and techniques
• Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm in challenging situations
• A compassionate and caring nature
• Basic computer skills are an advantage.
