Colchester to Ipswich | Residential Developer
Up to £50,000 + Car/Car Allowance + Bonus + Package
Are you a Health & Safety professional looking to join a leading residential developer with a strong pipeline of projects across Essex and Suffolk?
We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to support a well-established housebuilder covering developments between Colchester and Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality homes while maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing.
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Health & Safety Manager, you will work closely with site management teams across multiple live developments, providing practical advice and support to ensure compliance and promote a positive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews
- Support site teams in implementing company health and safety procedures
- Provide practical and proactive advice to operational stakeholders
- Assist with incident investigations and the completion of corrective actions
- Review risk assessments, method statements and site documentation
- Deliver toolbox talks and support workforce engagement initiatives
- Monitor compliance with current health and safety legislation and company standards
- Promote continuous improvement across all areas of HSEQ performance
About You
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Previous Health & Safety experience within housebuilding, residential construction, or the wider construction sector
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident engaging with site management and subcontractors
- Practical, solutions-focused approach to Health & Safety
- Full UK driving licence
