Head of Stable Loving Homes for Children in Care (Interim) within Children in Care in Scunthorpe UK earning £52.88 hourly. 37 hours per week and running from 28/09/2026 to 26/12/2026, this exciting opportunity requires you to be on site at least 3 days a week at Church Square House, Scunthorpe DN15 6NL. You must be a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England and will act as the registered Responsible Individual with Ofsted for adoption, fostering, and children's homes, and as an Agency Decision Maker.

What you will do:
- Act as the registered Responsible Individual with Ofsted, ensuring compliance in all regulatory matters.
- Own placement sufficiency across fostering, residential, commissioned placements, and care leaver accommodation.
- Report to the Assistant Director while deputising for them when needed.
- Oversee a gross budget of approximately £10.6 million.
- Directly manage a team of three reports and provide leadership to 65 staff members.
- Cover the Regional Adoption Agency, Special Guardianship, private fostering, and serve as the Corporate Parenting lead.
