Head Bartender in St Julian's

Job Title: Head Bartender
Location: Saint Julian's, Malta
Salary: €1,600 gross per month + service charge + accommodation

I am working with a well-established hospitality group operating a range of high-quality venues across Malta. The group has built a strong reputation for delivering memorable guest experiences, innovative concepts, and consistently high service standards across its portfolio.

We are currently seeking an experienced Head Bartender to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and hands-on professional who can lead a bar team, elevate beverage offerings, and maintain exceptional service standards in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily bar operations and ensure smooth and efficient service
• Develop and maintain cocktail menus and drink concepts
• Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to achieve high performance standards
• Ensure consistency in drink quality, presentation, and guest experience
• Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory processes
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Act as a key point of contact for guest service and issue resolution

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Head Bartender or Senior Bartender in a high-volume or premium venue
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar operations
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences
