What You Will Do

Perform safe and confident venepuncture, following Tuli Health protocols.

Prepare specimens and ensure timely transport to laboratories.

Support clinicians with observations, clinical tasks, and patient monitoring.

Conduct point-of-care testing (POCT) when required.

Maintain strong infection control standards and prepare clinical rooms and equipment.

Carry out basic health checks — BP, pulse, temperature, height/weight, urinalysis.

Update electronic patient records accurately, maintaining confidentiality and GDPR compliance.

Offer a warm, professional presence for patients, explaining procedures and gaining consent.

Support smooth clinic operations, monitoring stock and equipment levels.
Skills & Experience Needed
Essential:

Proven experience as a Healthcare Assistant

Full phlebotomy training and competency
-
Strong knowledge of infection control
-
Excellent communication and patient-facing skills
Desirable:

Experience in primary care or community health

POCT experience
-
Background working with diverse patient groups
