Graduate Nursery Assistant

Location: Manchester, M40
Pay: £100–£125 per day
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Nursery Assistant to join a nursery setting in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate passionate about early years education and child development, looking to gain hands-on experience supporting young children's learning, wellbeing and development.

The Role

• Assist nursery practitioners with the daily care and supervision of children.

• Support engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development.

• Help children develop communication, social skills and independence.

• Maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.

• Support children's emotional, physical and educational development.

• Observe children's progress and contribute to learning activities.

• Work collaboratively with nursery staff to deliver high-quality childcare.

• Follow safeguarding, health and safety procedures at all times.

What We're Looking For

• A 2:1 degree or above in Early Childhood Studies, Education, Psychology or a related subject.

• A genuine interest in early years education and child development.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A patient, caring and proactive approach.

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

• Previous childcare or nursery experience is desirable but not essential.
