Graduate Behaviour Mentor
October Start | Full-Time | £500–£650 per week | Stafford
Are you a Psychology graduate looking to begin a rewarding career in child psychology, behavioural mentoring or SEN teaching?

KPI Education is working with an alternative provision school to appoint a Graduate Behaviour Mentor to support pupils in their learning.
The Role
You'll be supporting students in small-group learning and one-to-one settings, working alongside qualified teachers and education professionals while developing valuable, first-hand classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group behavioural support.
- Encourage positive behaviour, attendance and engagement.
- Support students in developing emotional regulation strategies.
- Assist teachers in creating a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Help de-escalate challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Act as a positive role model for students.
- Monitor progress and contribute to behaviour support plans.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams.
About You
- A First or 2:1 degree in Psychology, Education Studies, Social Work, Health and Social Care or a related subject.
- Strong communication and confident interpersonal skills.
- A resilient, patient and proactive approach.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people in their education.
- A commitment to making a long-lasting, positive impact on pupils' lives.
Previous experience working with children and young people in a mentoring, tutoring or behavioural support setting would be advantageous.
