Location: West London
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per annum (pro rata)

KPI Education is seeking ambitious, academically driven graduates to join a high-achieving secondary school in West London as a Graduate Academic Mentor.

This is an exceptional opportunity for graduates considering careers in Teaching, Educational Psychology or Academic Leadership, offering invaluable classroom experience before progressing into teacher training or further study.

We are particularly interested in Russell Group and Oxbridge graduates, alongside talented individuals with strong academic backgrounds who are passionate about education.

The Role – Graduate Academic Mentor

As a Graduate Academic Mentor, you will:

• Deliver 1:1 and small-group academic interventions to students requiring additional support.
• Support pupils across KS3, KS4 and GCSE examinations.
• Work closely with experienced teachers to raise attainment and improve academic confidence.
• Provide subject-specific support in English, Maths, Science or Humanities.
• Help stretch and challenge high-achieving students while supporting those falling behind.
• Develop essential classroom management, communication and teaching skills.
• Act as a positive academic role model, inspiring students to achieve their potential.

The Ideal Graduate

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate:

• A 2:1 degree or above, ideally from a Russell Group or other leading university.
• Strong GCSE and A-Level academic achievements.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for education.
• An interest in pursuing Teacher Training, QTS or Educational Psychology.
• Confidence, enthusiasm and the ability to engage young people.
• Previous tutoring, mentoring or school experience is advantageous but not essential.
