General Manager – Boutique Fitness Studios

The opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, hands-on General Manager to lead two established boutique fitness studios in the heart of London.

The studios offer high-energy group training, including functional fitness, Pilates, toning and yoga. This is a visible leadership role combining commercial performance, team development and exceptional member experience.

The role

Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation, sales performance, team leadership and member journey across both studios. You’ll be equally comfortable reviewing membership data, driving local partnerships, supporting coaches and welcoming members during busy class periods.

Key responsibilities

• Own studio revenue, membership growth, retention and profitability.
• Develop sales, marketing, partnership and community plans.
• Identify new revenue opportunities through memberships, packages, events and partnerships.
• Lead, coach and develop the sales, front-of-house and coaching teams.
• Maintain high standards across classes, service, cleanliness and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding and data protection requirements.
• Oversee booking, membership and CRM systems.
• Support local events, launches, activations and referral initiatives.
• Build relationships with local businesses, offices and community partners.

Key skills and experience

• Experience as a General Manager, Studio Manager, Club Manager or Operations Manager.
• Background in fitness, wellness, hospitality or another service-led environment.
• Proven ability to drive sales, membership growth and commercial results.
• Strong people leadership, coaching and team-development skills.
• Commercially aware and confident using performance data.
• Passionate about fitness, wellbeing and delivering outstanding service.
• Hands-on, energetic and comfortable leading from the front.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and occasional events.
• Experience in boutique fitness, group training or multi-site operations would be advantageous.
