What you will do:
- Conduct thorough assessments of potential and existing foster carers to ensure they meet the high standards required for fostering placements.
- Provide regular support and supervision to foster carers, addressing any concerns and facilitating their development through training and advice.
- Work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to create and review care plans that promote positive outcomes for children in care.
- Respond promptly to any safeguarding concerns, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children under your supervision.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interventions and decisions, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational standards.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in social work
- Current registration with Social Work England
- Extensive experience in frontline social services within the UK, working as a qualified social worker in fostering or a related field
