Foster Wales Cardiff, the in-house fostering service, is on the lookout for talented social workers with a minimum of 3 years of experience to undertake Coram Baaf Form F assessments. We are forming a pool of skilled and qualified assessors to contact agencies as and when required. Your mission? To assess and prepare prospective Foster Carers and guide them on their fostering journey.

What you will do:

• Conduct Coram Baaf Form F assessments to evaluate and prepare prospective Foster Carers.
• Present your assessments to the panel on Wednesdays, requiring attendance and the ability to articulate findings.
• Maintain independence by working under your own initiative, but enjoy regular supervision.
• Complete face-to-face visits in line with assessment requirements, making a tangible difference in the community.
• Use your expertise to enhance the fostering landscape and support families through the fostering journey.

We are seeking social workers who are registered with Social Care Wales and live within a 40-mile radius of Cardiff. Previous fostering experience, especially completion of Form F assessments, is highly valued.
