Forklift Counterbalance Driver in Staffordshire, West Midlands

KPI Recruiting is urgently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy and well-established client in Uttoxeter on either a day or night shift basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure stable, ongoing work in a clean and safe working environment with excellent earning potential.

Shift Patterns & Pay

Day Shift:

• Monday to Thursday | 6:00am – 4:30pm, Friday | 6:00- 1:30pm
• £12.95 per hour
• Overtime at time and a half after 38.5 hours

Night Shift:

• Monday to Wednesday | 6:00pm – 5:30am
• Thursday | 6:00pm – 4:30am
• £15.10 per hour
• Overtime at time and a half after 38.5 hours

The Role

• Safe and efficient operation of a Counterbalance forklift truck within a busy warehouse or production environment
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials and stock accurately and in a timely manner
• Conducting pre-use vehicle checks and reporting any faults or defects promptly
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised work area at all times
• Working to pick or put-away schedules, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout
• Adhering to all site health, safety, and traffic management procedures

Requirements

• Valid, external Counterbalance forklift licence — essential
• Proven experience operating a Counterbalance forklift in a warehouse, logistics, or production environment
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Able to work the full shift pattern as advertised
• Own transport preferred due to site location
• Available for an immediate or urgent start
