Pay Rate: £27.44 per hour (PAYE) or £35.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Full-Time | Temporary (Initial 3 Months, Likely Extension)

Seven Resourcing is recruiting for an Experienced Adults Social Worker to join a busy and supportive locality team in Stroud. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified social worker looking to make a meaningful impact within Adult Social Care, supporting individuals to maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

You will work within a forward-thinking service that focuses on strengths-based practice, empowering individuals and connecting them with community resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of adults with varying and complex needs
• Undertake assessments, reviews, and care planning in line with statutory duties
• Support individuals in crisis situations, helping them regain control and stability
• Apply strengths-based approaches to promote independence and wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including health professionals and community services
• Safeguard vulnerable adults and manage associated risks effectively
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and continuous professional development

About You

We are looking for an experienced and confident Social Worker who can work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Essential Requirements:

• Registered with Social Work England
• Completed ASYE or have at least 2 years’ post-qualified experience within a UK local authority
• Strong background in Adult Social Care
• Experience working in multi-agency environments, including safeguarding and court-related work
• Solid understanding of relevant legislation, frameworks, and social work models
• Ability to manage and prioritise a busy caseload effectively
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Working Arrangements

• Hybrid model:
  • Initial 2-week office-based induction
  • Minimum 3 days per week office-based for visits, meetings, and supervision
• Agile working supported for the remainder of the week
• Consistent working pattern encouraged
