Role overview

  • Dynamic, revenue-focused role responsible for driving event bookings across multiple venues (restaurants, bars and event spaces) in Berlin.
  • Ideal for a fast-paced closer who converts incoming enquiries quickly, generates new leads proactively and loves the world of food, drinks and social events.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as primary contact for all incoming event enquiries across several venues, responding quickly, qualifying needs and converting leads into confirmed bookings.
  • Manage and keep full event calendars filled, optimising date usage and venue capacity through effective yield and minimum-spend thinking.
  • Conduct venue show-rounds and sales meetings, present concepts and packages, and guide clients through the booking journey from first contact to signed contract.
  • Prepare offers, menus and contracts, negotiate terms within agreed guidelines and ensure all details are accurately captured in the CRM/booking system.
  • Proactively generate new business through outbound calls, emails, social media, networking, local partnerships and attendance at relevant events.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies and private organisers to drive repeat and referral business.
  • Work closely with venue managers, kitchen and bar teams to ensure operational feasibility and a seamless handover from sales to operations.
  • Track pipeline, conversion rates and key KPIs; provide regular sales and forecast reports and use data to refine targeting and sales approach.
  • Support the development and implementation of lead generation campaigns and digital initiatives (website, booking platforms, social media, newsletters) in collaboration with marketing.

Profile & requirements

  • Several years of experience in event sales or venue sales, preferably across restaurants, bars, clubs or dedicated event spaces rather than classic hotels.
  • Proven track record of high conversion rates on inbound enquiries and hitting or exceeding event revenue targets.
  • Strong hunter mindset with excellent proactive sales skills, comfortable with prospecting, cold/warm outreach and building your own pipeline.
  • Genuine passion for hospitality, especially for restaurants, bars and memorable event experiences.
  • Native-level or fluent German (spoken and written) and strong English skills; additional languages are an advantage in Berlin’s international environment.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, confident presence with clients and a service-oriented attitude.
  • Highly organised, able to juggle multiple enquiries and sites simultaneously, with strong attention to detail in offers and contracts.
  • Self-motivated, energetic and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a high degree of autonomy.
