Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
Pay: £240 per day (PAYE) or £326.88 per day (Umbrella)

Seven Resourcing are recruiting for an experienced education professional to support vulnerable young people, including Year 12 and 13 learners at risk of becoming NEET, students with SEND/SEN, and pupils facing wider vulnerabilities.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a Qualified Teacher (QTS), Tutor, Learning Mentor, SEN Teacher, SEND Specialist, Inclusion Lead, Pastoral Lead, Further Education practitioner, or Alternative Provision professional looking to make a measurable difference.

Who This Role Would Suit

This opportunity would suit a qualified teacher (QTS), SEN or SEND specialist, Post-16 or Further Education teacher, experienced tutor, learning mentor, inclusion or pastoral lead, or someone working within alternative provision or education support.

We’re looking for an education professional with experience supporting vulnerable learners and improving engagement, attendance and outcomes.

The Role

You will promote positive educational outcomes and engagement by working strategically with education providers and supporting targeted interventions for Post-16 learners.

Your work will focus on:

  • Re-engaging Year 12 and 13 students at risk of becoming NEET
  • Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and SEND
  • Improving attendance and participation
  • Delivering targeted academic and pastoral interventions
  • Supporting successful transitions into Further Education or training
  • Developing and monitoring personalised intervention plans
  • Tracking attendance, engagement and progress data
  • Liaising with families, schools, locality teams and professionals
  • Supporting safeguarding and inclusion practices

You will report to the Inclusion Lead and play a key role in strengthening engagement, attainment and long-term outcomes.

Requirements

  • QTS or substantial tutoring / mentoring experience
  • Strong experience supporting SEND/SEN learners
  • Experience working with vulnerable young people or those at risk of NEET
  • Understanding of safeguarding and inclusion frameworks
  • Ability to track progress and demonstrate measurable impact
  • Confident working independently in a remote setting
