A welcoming and nurturing primary school in Nantwich (CW5 5SS) is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated Early Years team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically within a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and wider school staff to provide high-quality support that encourages every child to reach their full potential.

About You, To be considered for this role, you will :
- Hold a 2:1 degree or above (or be predicted to achieve this)
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and professional attitude
- Have experience working with young children, either in a school, nursery, childcare, or similar setting (desirable but not essential)
- Demonstrate a caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be passionate about supporting children's early learning and development
- Be able to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
- Be proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute to the wider school community
- Have the right to work in the UK
The Role, Your responsibilities will include :
- Supporting children throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Assisting with the delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to help children achieve key developmental milestones
- Supporting early literacy, numeracy, communication, and language development
- Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, independence, and social skills
- Helping to prepare learning resources and maintain a stimulating classroom environment
- Assisting with observations and monitoring children's progress
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can flourish
