This is more than just a nursery job. It's an opportunity to take everything you've learned at university and apply it where it matters most — supporting young children as they learn, explore, communicate and grow.

We're looking for graduates who bring fresh ideas, energy, creativity and a genuine passion for early childhood development.

  • Contract: Long-term, with potential permanent opportunities

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Graduate Nursery Practitioner, you'll play an important role in creating a positive, stimulating environment where young children can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting babies and young children through play-based learning and development activities.
  • Using your understanding of child psychology and development to support individual needs.
  • Planning creative activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Encouraging language development, social interaction and emotional confidence.
  • Supporting children with additional needs, including SEND and developmental delays.
  • Building positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
  • Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment where every child feels valued.

Who Are We Looking For?

We're particularly interested in graduates who demonstrate:

  • A degree in Early Childhood Studies, Childhood Development, Education Studies, Psychology or a related discipline.

  • Genuine enthusiasm for working with children aged 0–5.
  • Excellent communication skills, patience and emotional intelligence.
  • Creativity, initiative and a nurturing personality.
