Customer Service Associate – Temp (Ongoing)
Crewe | Hybrid | £14.83 per hour | 36 hours per week
We’re currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Customer Service Associate to join their team in Crewe on a temporary ongoing basis – with an immediate start available. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation where you’ll play a key role in delivering a high standard of service across a busy, fast-paced environment.
The Role
Working as part of a collaborative team, you will act as a central point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring queries and orders are handled efficiently and professionally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing customer enquiries, complaints, and service requests end-to-end
- Processing orders, billing, credits, debits, and refunds
- Monitoring orders and ensuring compliance with processes and regulations
- Acting as a SPOC for customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Supporting reporting, escalations, and administrative processes
- Meeting performance KPIs around service delivery and resolution times
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Previous experience in a customer service role (minimum 1 year)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- A proactive, team-focused approach
Experience with systems such as SAP is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
Working Pattern
- 36 hours per week
- Shift pattern between 7:00am – 5:30pm (early and late rotations)
Location & Flexibility
- Based in Crewe
- Initially fully office-based for training
- Hybrid working available once training is complete
Pay & Contract
- £14.83 per hour
- Temporary ongoing assignment
- Immediate start available
