Cs&a Architectural Designer in Warrington, North West

Our Client has a requirement for a CS&A Architectural Designer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Warrington.

Role Purpose:

To support the delivery of nuclear infrastructure design packages across projects, developing coordinated architectural models and design outputs within a multi-disciplinary CS&A environment. The role will focus on 3D Revit modelling, 2D drawing production, and design coordination in accordance with CDM Regulations.

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the architectural 3D Revit model
• Attend and contribute to model reviews and space management meetings, presenting discipline updates
• Coordinate closely with CS&A Engineers, Architects, and other discipline designers to ensure model integration
• Produce 2D AutoCAD GA drawings and detailed design outputs from the Revit model through Preliminary and Detailed Design stages
• Support development of architectural specifications alongside Engineers and Architects
• Act as Designer under CDM Regulations, ensuring compliance across all design activities

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

• HND or Degree qualified in Architectural Technology or related discipline
• Strong experience using Revit (3D modelling) and AutoCAD (2D drafting)
• Proven experience in layout development, architectural detailing, and specification writing, including:
  • Cladding systems
  • Roofing
  • Internal finishes
  • Partitions
  • Stairs
  • Modular build systems
• Ideally nuclear sector experience, or similar highly regulated industrial environments
• Confident working within multi-disciplinary design teams and presenting model outputs
• Working knowledge of CDM Regulations
• Proactive approach with willingness to support and develop junior team members
