What You Will Do

Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and Council standards.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults using modern diagnostic equipment.

Conduct vehicle safety inspections in line with DVSA and Operator Licence standards.

Prepare vehicles for MOT testing, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Maintain accurate records of work completed, including parts used and time spent, using fleet management systems.

Follow all health and safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Use diagnostic software to troubleshoot advanced vehicle systems such as ABS, CAN bus, and emissions systems.

Mentor colleagues and apprentices, sharing technical expertise and encouraging team development.

Attend vehicle breakdowns to provide efficient on-site diagnostics and repairs.
