MUST have hospitality experience from restaurant, bars and clubs or events to apply!!

We’re partnering with a leading and fast-growing hospitality business operating across restaurants, bars, live events, catering, festivals and destination venues. With an exciting portfolio of premium hospitality concepts and a growing events and commercial division, the business is entering an ambitious new phase of growth and is looking for a Commercial Director to take ownership of commercial strategy and revenue generation across the group.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands hospitality commercially, someone who can spot opportunities, drive revenue, build partnerships and turn commercial strategy into real results.

The Commercial Director Role

  • You’ll work closely with the CEO, COO, marketing and operational leadership teams, taking responsibility for maximising revenue and commercial performance across the estate
  • From reservations and yield optimisation through to sponsorships, partnerships, tenders and events, this is a broad commercial role with plenty of scope to shape how the business grows
  • You’ll be expected to bring structure, commercial thinking and energy to an already successful business, while identifying new opportunities to increase revenue and long-term value

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the group-wide commercial and revenue strategy across the estate
  • Drive improvements across reservations, booking pace, table yield, minimum spends and guest spend
  • Own sponsorship and commercial partnerships across events, venues and experiences
  • Build and negotiate relationships with brands, agencies, landlords, developers and corporate partners
  • Lead the commercial strategy for major tenders, venue opportunities and hospitality contracts
  • Oversee and elevate the existing event sales function, improving pipeline, conversion and forecasting
  • Develop stronger commercial reporting and forecasting across reservations, events, sponsorship and revenue

About You

  • Proven senior commercial experience within hospitality, restaurants, venues, events or experiential businesses
  • Strong understanding of revenue generation, reservations, yield and premium customer behaviour
  • A proven track record of developing new commercial opportunities and growing revenue
  • Experience negotiating partnerships, sponsorships or major commercial agreements
  • Strong understanding of events and hospitality sales
  • Comfortable working with commercial data, forecasting and performance reporting
  • A confident negotiator and relationship builder with excellent communication skills
  • Experienced in leading or overseeing commercial and sales teams
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
  • Someone who can combine big-picture commercial strategy with hands-on execution

This is a great opportunity for a commercially ambitious hospitality leader who wants genuine influence across a growing group, with responsibility across revenue, partnerships, events and strategic growth.
