Clinical Lead Nurse in Worcester, West Midlands

We are recruiting an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse for a medium-sized care home in the Worcester area, specialising in dementia care. As Clinical Lead, you will guide the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care for residents with complex needs, working closely with a committed and friendly team.

An active NMC registration (PIN) is essential.

As a Clinical Lead your responsibilities will include:

• Providing leadership, supervision, and clinical guidance to the nursing and care teams
• Ensuring safe, evidence-based, person-centred care for residents living with dementia
• Acting as a clinical role model and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Completing audits, analysing trends, and implementing action plans
• Working collaboratively with MDT professionals, families, and external partners
• Supporting the Registered Manager with inspections and regulatory compliance
• Leading on safeguarding, medication management, infection control, and risk management
• Contributing to recruitment, induction, supervisions, and appraisals
• Delivering clinical training and competency assessments for the team
• Assisting with rota planning and day-to-day staffing coordination
• Maintaining accurate, compliant clinical documentation in line with GDPR and NMC standards

Required skills and experience:

• Current NMC registration (active PIN)
• Proven experience in a senior nursing or clinical leadership role
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, and leading a clinical team
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, dementia care best practice, and clinical governance
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Ability to motivate and manage a multidisciplinary team effectively
• Experience in audits, quality assurance, and risk management
