Class 1 Driver in Bellshill

 KPI Recruiting is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Driver on behalf of our client based in Bellshill, ML4.

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday – Days: £19.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday – Nights: £20.00 per hour
• Saturdays: £21.00 per hour
• Sundays: £22.00 per hour

Working Hours: Average of 8–12 hours per shift.

Induction: 2-day paid induction, with 8 hours paid per day.

The Role – Class 1 Driver Responsibilities

• Safely transport goods to their required destinations.
• Ensure all goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent movement or damage.
• Use straps, nets and other securing equipment where required.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks using a company-issued phone.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team, providing updates throughout your shift.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Attend training sessions to keep up to date with industry standards and procedures.

Requirements

To be considered for this Class 1 Driver position, you must have:

• A valid UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
• A valid Driver CPC / DCPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• A good understanding of vehicle safety and load security.
• A flexible and reliable approach to work.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

Experience with refrigerated trailers is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
