What you will do:
- Lead and manage the Kinship & SGO Support team and the Private Fostering team, focusing on daily support and assessments.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality support services tailored for kinship carers, SGO families, and private fostering situations.
- Supervise and guide a team of social workers and family practitioners, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for service excellence.
- Liaise closely with social work teams, families, carers, and multi-agency partners to ensure seamless service access for children's needs.
- Review and oversee assessments, develop needs-based support plans for carers and families, and ensure comprehensive resource management.
- Manage team resources and budgets effectively to optimise support services.
- Attendance in the office will be required according to the needs of the service, with opportunities for hybrid working arrangements available for discussion during the interview process.
