Carer role:
- Place service users’ wishes, preferences and wellbeing at the heart of care delivery.
- Follow care plans and report changes in service users’ needs to the Senior Carer/Nurse.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of service users.
- Support daily living tasks, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming and using the bathroom.
- Maintain accurate care plans and care records.
- Build effective relationships with colleagues, families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Work within Fundamental Standards, CQC requirements and all relevant policies.
- Act professionally, respectfully and compassionately at all times.
Care Assistant pay:
£12.71 per hour.
