What you will do:

• Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment to carry out Sonography examinations following stringent infectious disease, sterilisation, and patient safety protocols.
• Take responsibility for ensuring patient safety during Sonography examinations.
• Conduct thorough reviews of patient medical histories and supporting clinical information to provide accurate assessments.
• Verify Sonography examination orders for completeness, relevance, and compliance with medical necessity standards.
• Evaluate any contraindications, incomplete patient preparation, or patients' inability or unwillingness to undergo examinations.

Qualifications and registration required:

• Possession of an undergraduate degree in Medical Imaging or Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.
• Registration or certification from an accredited program in General Sonography, Cardiac Sonography, or Vascular Sonography is necessary.
• Current American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent registration in one or more modalities.
