Camhs Mental Health Nurse Band 6 in Guernsey

Applications are invited from capable and experienced Mental Health or Paediatric Nurses to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health team in the capacity of Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse on the Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.
The CAMHS Team provides care to children under 18 years old Island-wide and comprises; Consultant Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists, Family & Systemic Psychotherapists, Wellbeing Practitioners, a Band 8 Operational Manager/Senior Nurse Practitioner, Band 7 and Band 6 Mental Health Practitioners.
There are specialists within the Team focusing specifically on ADHD and Eating Disorders.
Reporting to the Band 7 Senior Practitioner and/or Band 8 Team Leader, you will provide complex mental health care of children and young people as appropriate, in a variety of settings in accordance with the agreed pathway for access to the service.
Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale.
The States of Guernsey Band 6 salary range is £47,860 to £64,615 plus an annual bonus of £1,747 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH.
Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.
The island of Guernsey is in the Channel Islands and has a population of 65,000. It has some of Britain's finest and best-kept beaches, an especially mild and sunny climate, and an offbeat, historic harbor town in St. Peter's Port, the island's capital.

Person requirements:
Registered Nurse with Paediatric or Mental Health NMC registration.
Two years post-registration experience including one year in a CAMHS post.
The ability to work both autonomously and closely with the extensive CAMHS MDT as required.
