What you will do

• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver speech and language therapy services within the BIRT Neurobehavioural model.

• Lead communication and dysphagia therapy programmes, formulating tailored care plans and rehabilitation goals for People We Support.

• Perform comprehensive assessments and manage a varied caseload of individuals with complex mental and physical health needs.

• Engage individuals actively in their rehabilitation journey, overcoming communication barriers effectively.

• Conduct swallowing assessments, manage dysphagia cases safely, and provide exhaustive training for staff involved.

• Report and document findings, care plans, and progress in line with organisational and legal standards.

• Liaise with internal and external professionals, family members, and People We Support to ensure holistic and informed therapy interventions.
