Are you ready for a rewarding locum opportunity in Telford? Join us as a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse within the Community Mental Health Team, specialising in Adults Assessment. This role offers a pay rate of £26 per hour. It is initially for 3-6 months, but there is a strong potential for extension based on success and continued need. Your core hours will be 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday, but flexible working patterns like 08:00-18:00 for 4 days, or other variations, are available.

What you will do:

  • Work within an identified adult community mental health team, providing high-quality clinical services.

  • Manage a complex caseload, providing clinical and caseload supervision to other team members as needed.

  • Conduct clinical assessments to establish needs, goals, risks, and strengths, developing care plans in collaboration with all involved.

  • Deliver brief interventions according to agreed care plans for individuals experiencing mental health issues.

  • Offer consultation, support, and clinical supervision within the Community Mental Health Pathway Service.
