We are seeking an experienced Band 5/6 ACT Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled pharmacy professional with previous NHS Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) experience to contribute to a busy and supportive acute hospital environment.

Requirements:

• Previous NHS Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) experience is essential.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Experience working within an NHS hospital pharmacy setting.
• Strong knowledge of dispensing, medicines management, and accuracy checking procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

What you will do:

• Undertake final accuracy checking of dispensed medicines in accordance with local and national standards.
• Support the delivery of safe and effective pharmacy services across the Trust.
• Work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and wider healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Assist with medicines management initiatives and service improvement activities.
• Contribute to the efficient workflow of the dispensary and ward-based pharmacy services.
