Welding Coordinator in Brownhills, West Midlands

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Engineering company, in their search for a NIGHTS Welding Coordinator to work in their workshop based in Brownhills.

For the successful NIGHTS Welding Coordinator, our client is offering;

• Up to £46,660 P/A
• Monday to Thursday 5.30 pm – 3.30 am
• Overtime is available
• Permanent position
• Holidays – 26 days in addition to bank holidays

The Role - NIGHTS Welding Coordinator:

• Review welding requirements
• Issuing weld consumables and procedures
• Responsibility for the jobs once they are released
• Putting together weld history sheets, including maintaining weld maps
• Support the calibration and maintenance of the welding plant and equipment

What our client is looking for in a NIGHTS Welding Coordinator:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of welding and fabrication
  Ability to interpret and work with engineering documentation and certificates
• Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach
• Proficiency in IT systems, including Word and Excel
• Welding coordination experience or qualification CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspection -REQUIRED
• Knowledge of NDT techniques (Visual, MPI, DPI) – REQUIRED
• Hands-on welding experience with TIG, MIG, and STICK processes – DESIRABLE
• GCSE or equivalent – PREFERRED
