What you will do:
- Manage cases for unaccompanied asylum seekers, with a focus on those placed predominantly in the West Midlands and residing in the Shropshire area.
- Provide support to 16+ young people, working primarily from home but participating in duty days, team meetings, and other necessary meetings arranged by the People’s Directorate.
- Record detailed case notes and adhere to timescales while conducting thorough assessments and providing analytical insights.
- Engage in conflict resolution, supporting vulnerable teenagers who have experienced trauma and negative experiences, with a focus on CSE knowledge and skills.
- Conduct return home interviews and foster positive, trusting relationships with young individuals.
- Prepare for and prioritise supervision, ensuring regular reflection, feedback, and direction-seeking when needed.
