Warehouse Operative pay:

£12.21 - £13.00 per hour.

Warehouse Operative role:

• Packing sporting items across the warehouse
• Loading & unloading stock and pallets across the warehouse
• Other general warehouse duties

Receiving and storing goods

• Unload delivery vehicles and verify shipments against invoices and delivery notes. 
• Inspect items for damage or missing parts and report discrepancies. 
• Move stock to designated storage areas using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand. 
• Store goods in the correct locations to maintain inventory accuracy and safety. 

Picking and packing orders

• Collect items for customer orders, often using a handheld scanner or voice-pick system. 
• Pack orders accurately and safely, ensuring they are properly sealed and labeled for dispatch. 
• Load packed orders onto delivery vehicles. 

Inventory and stock control

• Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to ensure accuracy. 
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, often by updating computer systems. 
• Rotate stock to ensure older items are used first
