Graduate Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School, Coventry

• Location: Coventry

• Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only

• Salary: Up to £570 per week

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

Are you a recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in the education sector? A forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Coventry is looking for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join their passionate team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates interested in teaching, educational psychology, or working with young people with special educational needs (SEN). You’ll be supporting students aged 11–16, both inside and outside the classroom, helping them reach their potential—particularly in core subjects like English, Maths, and Science.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll:

• Provide one-to-one and small group academic support

• Assist with classroom activities and behaviour management

• Adapt learning materials to suit different learning styles and needs

• Support pupils with SEN and/or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs

• Encourage student confidence, engagement, and motivation

This role is especially well-suited to Psychology graduates with an interest in child development and behaviour, or anyone considering a future in teaching or SEN support. No prior school experience is required—full training will be provided.
