Role Overview: Graduate Classroom Assistant Support teachers in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 and assist pupils with varying needs (SEND, EAL, speech and language). Make a meaningful impact on pupils’ learning and confidence. Key Responsibilities: Graduate Classroom Assistant
- Assist teachers with lessons and classroom routines
- Lead small-group or 1:1 sessions in literacy, phonics, or numeracy
- Support pupils with special educational needs
- Promote positive behaviour and self-confidence
- Prepare and adapt classroom resources
- Build strong relationships with pupils and staff
Candidate Profile: Graduate Classroom Assistant
- Graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher (preferably in Psychology, English, or Education)
- Energetic, empathetic, and patient with children
- Experience supporting children (tutoring, mentoring, playwork, etc.)
- Interested in teaching, educational psychology, or child development
- Confident team player with strong communication skills
