What you will do:
- Support the Agency Decision Making Process and maintain high standards in panel operations.
- Quality assure reports presented to panels and oversee non-panel annual reviews.
- Act as a communication bridge between panels and the Service, briefing managers and decision makers on relevant matters.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as the Fostering Regulations 2011 and Children’s Act 2004.
- Manage the panel administrator to ensure efficient administration of the fostering panels.
- Assist in the selection, termination, and review of panel members, in consultation with the panel chairpersons.
About You:
You’ll be a Social Work Registered professional with extensive experience in fostering, possessing a current SWE registration. Your background in working with children in statutory settings will help you make informed professional judgments, improving outcomes for those you support. You will possess a deep understanding of relevant legislation, standards, and procedures, and use this knowledge effectively in your work. Your interpersonal skills and ability to develop professional relationships will be key in engaging with other professionals to benefit foster carers and children.
