What you will do:

- Provide an exceptional ultrasound service, conducting unsupervised scanning sessions with excellence and diligence.
- Operate as an independent practitioner, working closely with modality leads and the ultrasound lead to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Maintain high standards of medical imaging quality, generating accurate, informative reports and adhering to department protocols.
- Always work within your professional scope, ensuring a high level of personal expertise and accountability for your clinical actions.
- Participate actively in continuous professional development and maintain your professional registration.
- Utilise facilities effectively to enhance patient care, and support the implementation of service improvements as required.
- Safely operate ultrasound equipment, adhering to BMUS guidelines, and participate in peer reviews, audits, mentorship, and training.
- Contribute to weekend rotas to support the Early Pregnancy Clinic and Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Clinic.

Requirements:

- HCPC registration
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sonographer
- Driving license preferred to facilitate ease of travel between locations
