What you will do:

- Assessment and Consultation: Conduct psychological assessments of children and young people using a variety of tools, observations, and methods. Provide invaluable advice and detailed reports for Education, Health and Care Needs Assessments (EHCNA) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Intervention and Support: Design and manage evidence-based interventions to meet educational, social, and emotional needs. Support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) through customised strategies.
- Strategic and Preventative Work: Influence the development of policies, practices, and training within schools. Deliver workshops and training on crucial topics like mental health, resilience, and learning strategies.
- Multi-Agency Collaboration: Partner with social care, health professionals, early help teams, and voluntary organisations to create a unified approach. Participate in safeguarding processes, offering psychological insights in case discussions.
- Research and Evaluation: Lead research, service evaluations, and project work to foster evidence-based practice and introduce innovative approaches to improve children’s outcomes.
