What you will do:

  • Manage cases for unaccompanied asylum seekers predominantly in the West Midlands, focusing on young people living in the Shropshire area.
  • Maintain thorough and timely records, ensuring cases meet all required timescales, and leveraging superb assessment and analytical skills.
  • Resolve conflicts and work empathically with vulnerable and dysregulated teenagers who have experienced trauma and negative lived experiences.
  • Conduct return home interviews, nurturing trust-based relationships with young people to aid in their rehabilitation and integration.
  • Prepare for and prioritise supervision while continuously reflecting and adapting based on feedback and guidance received.
  • Collaborate with teams and engage in the required office duties one day per week, while enjoying the flexibility of working from home the remaining days.
