What you will do:

  • Work within legislative and statutory planning frameworks, Government Guidance and the Department’s policies and procedures.
  • Act as one of the core team of Independent Reviewing Officers for Reviews for Children Looked After in Nottingham.
  • Monitor professional practice and offer constructive challenge to improve outcomes for children and young people.
  • Ensure all reviews are completed effectively, documenting and implementing statutory compliance.
  • Advocate for the best interests of children and young people, making sure that their voices are heard and considered in all decisions affecting them.
