What you will do:

- Conduct therapy assessments and support planning in the Core OT Service to address the needs of adults in social care.
- Utilise your well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, potentially incorporating picture communication tools, to effectively engage with clients.
- Promote independence by supporting individuals to maximise their potential through advice, information, rehabilitation, practice of tasks, and provision of aids and adaptations.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive record-keeping and assessment writing to ensure the highest care standards.
- Apply your expertise in manual handling, equipment, and adaptations while understanding adult social care and health legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Manual Handling Regulations 1992, and Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

Requirements:

- You must be HCPC registered, ensuring you meet the highest standards in healthcare provision.
- A full driving licence and access to a car are required, enabling you to reach various locations across the city efficiently.
