What you will do:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop bespoke care plans for individuals dealing with substance misuse.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and monitor their efficacy as part of the treatment strategy.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and coordination for service users.
- Deliver educational sessions to patients and their families to promote understanding of substance misuse and recovery options.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records to ensure the highest standard of care and compliance.
Requirements of the Non-Medical Prescriber:
- You should have recent experience as a Non-Medical Prescriber or in fields related to substance misuse, such as addiction or drug and alcohol recovery.
- An active NMC Registration is essential.
- Hold a degree or equivalent in Nursing, equipping you with the knowledge to provide high-quality care.
