Electrical Engineer in Shrewsbury, West Midlands

Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading company in their search for a Electrical Engineer to work in their leading facility in Shrewsbury.

For the successful Electrical Engineer our client is offering:

• Competitive basic salary up to £45,000 - Depending on experience
• Working Days 8am - 4:30pm with a 2pm finish on Fridays, although flexibility is required
• Permanent position
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays

The Role - Electrical Engineer:

• Building and Wiring of Electrical Systems & Control Panels to an extremely high standard
• Conducting electrical finding & trouble shooting of issues
• Wiring of control panels from scratch
• Panel Building - Drilling, tapping backplates and inserting trunking
• Crimping, soldering, terminating and stripping down wires
• Following schematic diagrams to build panels from scratch
• Fitting components with suitable fixtures

What our client is looking for in a Electrical Engineer

• City & Guilds Electrical Qualification, or similar - ESSENTIAL
• You will possess previous experience of working within an electrical environment
• We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong Electrical based skills, and is suitably qualified
• Strong knowledge of Panel Building/Wiring is ESSENTIAL
• Knowledge of fault finding / diagnostics & Installation
• Working knowledge of PLC based systems
