What you will do:
- Manage a diverse and engaging caseload involving Children in Need (CiN), Child Protection (CP) Plans, and Public Law Outline (PLO) Care Proceedings.
- Work directly with families to ensure the safety, protection, and long-term wellbeing of children at risk.
- In the Court Team, oversee a protected caseload of children involved in legal proceedings, ensuring compliance and advocacy in court processes.
- Collaborate effectively with a supportive management team and take advantage of various resources across the service to enhance outcomes for families.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive plans tailored to the unique needs of each case.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be a Qualified Social Worker with appropriate professional registration.
- Demonstrated experience in Children in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings is essential.
- Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills are required.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team is crucial.
