Children’s Residential Worker – Huddersfield
Hourly Rate: £18.00
Contract: Ongoing
Hours: Part-Time (Shift Pattern: 2 days on, 4 days off; 7:30am–11pm plus sleep-in 11pm–7:30am)

What You Will Do

  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with young people in your care.

  • Support and implement individual care plans and risk assessments.

  • Encourage independence and help young people develop essential life skills.

  • Promote positive behaviours through resilience, consistency, and encouragement.


Applicant Requirements

  • Previous experience in residential childcare.

  • Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children’s & Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent).

  • Enhanced DBS clearance and the right to work in the UK.

  • Availability for 37 hours per week on a shift basis.

  • Full UK driving licence essential for travel requirements.
